Ray Promer

Ray Promer began working in the surfing industry at the 311 surf shop on 5th street in Huntington Beach at the age of 14 as a shop sweeper. Under the direction of James Vartanian he shaped his first board at the age of 14. Ray began surfing his own shapes in high school and printed his first logos in 1996. Fast forward to 2000, Clear Water Glassing is born where Ray has been for the last 25 years.
